State & National Accreditation

The accreditation of a school provides documentation and evidence of a school’s effectiveness and provides ground work for ongoing school improvement.  Educators with a desire to upgrade their state teacher certification are required by the state of Missouri to teach in an accredited school.  Many foundations also reserve funding for schools that are accredited.

The school undergoes a self study process every five to seven years to maintain accreditation. The preschool and daycare programs are also accredited and included in this process.  An accredited school must meet standards based on all indicators provided by the accrediting association.

We are pleased to announce the validation of all membership standards in March 2012.
