Scrip cards are available after several weekend Masses.  Please contact the academy office for dates and information.


Scrip Cards are an excellent and easy way to provide additional funding for St. Charles Borromeo Academy. Our academy purchases Scrip Cards (also known as gift cards) at a discounted rate, then sells them at face value. The discounted rate averages 5% and may go as high as 16%. The difference between the discounted price and the face value of the card is profit for our academy.

The average family can easily make the school $358.00 throughout each school year.
 

How It Works:

  • Purchase retail gift cards through our scrip program at face value.
  • Choose from hundreds of national retail stores where you already shop.
  • St. Charles Borromeo Academy buys the gift cards at 1-13% less than face value (varies by retailer).
  • The difference between face value and what the school pays = St. Charles Borromeo Academy's earnings.

Here's an Example:

Mrs. Smith needs some gardening supplies, so she buys a $100 The Home Depot® gift card for $100 through our school scrip program. Cha-ching! She just earned $4 for the school because The Home Depot gift cards are available from Great Lakes Scrip Center at 4% less than face value. When Mrs. Smith checks out at The Home Depot, she pays with her gift card instead of using a credit or debit card!  She will do the same thing when she needs cleaning supplies at Target®, and earn $2.50 just by using a $100 Target GiftCard to pay for her purchases.
